History is again made.....
It was in 1885 that three Hawaiian Princes first surfed the U.S. Mainland at the San Lorenzo River mouth in Santa Cruz.
In 1947, local Santa Cruz independent radio station KSCO began broadcasting over much of Northern and Central California.
In March 2013, both surfing and skating were brought to the airwaves, every Tuesday evening at 7:00 PST on the “Off the Lip Radio Show.”
Brought to you by host Neil Pearlberg, and skate shop owner Terry Campion. The talk show focuses on everything surfing and skateboarding with an incredible array of guests that you can call in to ask your questions too. The show also features live music, and of course up-to-date news of the past, present and future of the surf and skate culture of Santa Cruz and beyond.
